TIM MONSEES: We quote, generally speaking, to our clients that upwards of 90%, perhaps 90% plus of all cases settle without going to trial.

DAVID MAYER: When we accept a case, we work it and look at it and investigate it like it will go in front of a jury.

TIM MONSEES: Any firm that is ready to go to trial is in a position to command the best possible settlement if that's the outcome.

DAVID MAYER: An attorney cannot tell what a case is worth when the client walks in the door. It requires hours of preparation of investigation to look at each case on an individual basis and then make a determination.

TIM MONSEES: I oftentimes tell clients that the best indication that we think they have a good case is if we accept it.

DAVID MAYER: Every time I walk into a courtroom I know I'm walking to the table that's on the right side, and that is that I represent the plaintiff, the injured party.
