ANSWER: Between the five partners in the firm we have around a hundred years of combined experience handling most types of personal injury and other plaintiffs litigation. We have a sizable referral practice which means that other attorneys trust us to the extent that they send their more difficult and time-consuming cases to Monsees, Miller, Mayer, Presley & Amick to handle. As a result, we typically work on fewer but more serious claims. This allows us to devote more time to develop the case and more attention to our clients in order to achieve a better result. If we need additional help in a particular area of the law we know who to call in to assist us because the community of lawyers that do the type of cases we handle is really quite small. All we do is represent plaintiffs and essentially all of our income is contingent on the outcome of the cases we handle. Lawyers who represent people on an hourly basis and dabble in plaintiffs' litigation do not have the same interest or the same incentive to pursue your case as a law firm that handles only plaintiffs' litigation. If we were not successful in our efforts on behalf of our clients we would not be in business today.
