Alison Nolan Lee Kansas City, Missouri
Alison is excited to join the team of dedicated attorneys at Monsees, Miller, Mayer, Presley & Amick. She has always sought to help people in need, so joining a firm that has been nationally recognized for its plaintiff's work is a natural fit for her. Alison was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she graduated from Nicolet High School. She then migrated to Northern California where she attended California State University in Sacramento, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Arts. After a brief career as an actress in Southern California, Alison's lifelong desire to make a difference in her community motivated her to attend law school. She obtained her legal education at Washburn University School of Law in Topeka, Kansas, where she graduated with Dean's Honors. During her tenure at Washburn Law, Alison served as a Notes Editor for the Washburn Law Journal and worked extensively at the Washburn Law Clinic. In addition, she spent one semester working as an intern for a Kansas State Senator and served as "Senate Reader" for the Kansas State Senate. Alison also spent a summer studying law and economics and comparative family law in London. Prior to joining the Monsees, Miller firm, Ali worked at the Douglas County District Attorney's Office, where she gained valuable jury trial experience.
